The conditions are typically hot, summer high pressure with lots of smoke in the air. I did not expect to get very high and did not. I started flying before 6:00 pm and felt the conditions improved as the day went on. I flew the July task and improved my time but am still 18 minutes slower than the lead score from Niel McGary.
